CleanShot Privacy Policy
What leaves the phone when a picture is cleaned
CleanShot cleans a still the holder chooses. The holder may write what should leave the frame and send that still and that sentence over HTTPS so a cloud model can return an edited picture. Recordings are not uploaded, and an advertising identifier is not read. CleanShot does not sell personal information, because a cleaning send is an edit the holder asked for, not a sale. Send an opt-out of selling by email to studio@yuhuaicreative.com. Label that letter a do-not-sell request if that helps. Returning an edited still is not a subscription. The chapters that follow say what can leave the handset, who receives it, how long it lasts, and how a holder may ask about personal data that actually arrived.
Who publishes CleanShot and which date applies
The controller is Huai'an Yuhuai Creative Design Co., Ltd. The postal address is Room 305, Building 59, Yili Future City, No.118 Middle Xiangyu Road, Qingjiangpu District, Huai'an City. Privacy correspondence goes to studio@yuhuaicreative.com. The effective date of this notice is 2026-09-11. A cleaning send does not use a sign-in, because the still is chosen on the phone before it leaves. CleanShot runs only on Google Play for Android. Support and privacy replies use the mailbox above; there is no separate portal account for managing a remote identity.
The picture and the removal sentence
A generative AI provider receives the chosen picture and the removal sentence in order to return the edited picture. Photos / Videos are collected and shared with that vendor when the holder sends a still to be cleaned. Sending a picture is optional; CleanShot still opens and shows local files without that step. The still is held in local storage until the holder decides to send it. A holder may start from a Camera capture or from the system photo picker; either path yields a local still first. Other user-generated content in the form of the removal sentence is collected and shared with that vendor so the model can apply the edit the holder asked for. Providing a removal sentence is optional; a holder who never writes one never sends that text. The request carries only the chosen picture and the removal sentence. Those items are not used for advertising, public display, or any purpose other than returning the edited picture. The Play listing's Data safety answers for this package align with this privacy policy regarding collected categories, the reason for each category, sharing status, and whether each step is required or optional. Temporary files that reopen a screen are not collected. CleanShot does not run a public feed, does not open a community thread for cleaned pictures, and does not post results to other users.
Camera before a still is sent
If Camera is refused, CleanShot cannot capture a new still from the lens, though a picture already on the phone may still be chosen through the system photo picker. Camera runs only after an explicit tap and is not in the background. A capture is held in local storage until the holder elects to send that still for cleaning. Revoking Camera in Android Settings stops further lens capture; typed removal sentences and pictures already saved on the handset remain available for local review. CleanShot stores still pictures only, so video and location stay unused. A refused Camera still leaves typed removal sentences and gallery stills available.
Microphone audio kept out of a cleaning send
If Microphone is refused, CleanShot simply does not capture spoken audio from that sensor. Spoken capture with Microphone begins only after the holder taps that control, and Microphone is not in the background. Spoken audio is not taken off the phone and is not part of a cleaning send. Spoken remarks, if any, are excluded from the cleaning request. Revoking Microphone in Android Settings ends further audio capture while other on-device controls continue to work. CleanShot never uploads a recording as part of a cleaning request. A cleaning session that relies on a typed removal sentence does not need Microphone at all.
Legal bases for the model request and for mail
When the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies for a holder in Europe, these grounds are the legal bases for the cleaning send and for mailbox mail. Performance of a contract covers returning the edited picture the holder asked the model to produce. Legitimate interests support reading mailbox mail about a complaint or a privacy request in the same assessment that weighs the holder's interest in a reply. Legal obligation supports responses the controller must give under applicable law. Consent may support an optional send of a picture and a removal sentence, and the holder may withdraw that consent by writing studio@yuhuaicreative.com. The holder may lodge a complaint. Whichever supervisory authority covers the holder's home can receive it, and so can the authority for the workplace or the place of the problem. Personal data in a model request may be processed outside the country where the phone sits because the vendor operates cloud infrastructure; the only other outbound path is the legal-page traffic described below.
Data Protection Officer for CleanShot privacy mail
There is no separately named Data Protection Officer. Privacy questions that would otherwise go to a DPO are handled at studio@yuhuaicreative.com.
Two recipients: the model vendor and the host
CleanShot discloses personal data to two categories of recipient. First, when the holder sends a picture for cleaning, the generative AI provider receives user-selected photos and user prompts, meaning the picture and the removal sentence, to process the picture and return the edited result over HTTPS. Second, a hosting provider records HTTPS server logs after a legal page is requested. The host can answer with this privacy policy. Another request can answer with the terms of use. Another request can answer with the children's notice. Images and text go only to that vendor for the edit, because the legal-page request is a separate fetch that carries no picture.
How long a model request and a letter last
Retention follows the type of record. A picture and removal sentence that left the phone for cleaning are kept only as long as the vendor needs to return the edited still and to clear transient processing copies under that vendor's service cycle; CleanShot does not maintain a separate remote gallery of past cleans. Mailbox letters that reach studio@yuhuaicreative.com are kept long enough to answer the request, typically within fifteen business days, and then as long as a short correspondence file is needed for follow-up. The host deletes those logs when its schedule says to. Local stills, working caches, and any drafts are cleared when the holder uninstalls CleanShot or clears app storage in Android Settings. There is no hosted account page to close; clearing the device and writing the mailbox cover what the operator can delete. Edited pictures that the holder saves back to the phone after a successful return are thereafter local files under the holder's control.
Safeguards for a picture that left the phone
A picture that left the phone travels only over HTTPS to the vendor named above. Organisational controls limit staff access to mailbox mail to people who handle privacy or support replies. Technical controls include transport encryption for outbound requests, access restriction on correspondence systems, and separation of legal-page hosting from the cleaning request path. Staff who read a privacy letter do not receive a standing copy of every picture sent for cleaning. CleanShot does not promise that any network is immune to every attack. If a holder believes a cleaned still or a letter was mishandled, the practical step is to write studio@yuhuaicreative.com with enough detail to identify the session, such as the approximate time of the send and the mailbox used. Device-side files stay under the holder's Android storage controls until storage is cleared.
Inspecting, correcting, erasing, and exporting what arrived
A holder may ask to inspect personal data that actually arrived at the controller, including mailbox mail and any cleaning-related material the operator still holds. Write studio@yuhuaicreative.com and describe the request so staff can locate the record.
Request rectification when correspondence is inaccurate or incomplete. Write studio@yuhuaicreative.com about that personal information. This correction route covers correspondence and any identifier the controller stored from that exchange; it does not rewrite pixels already returned to the handset as a finished edit.
A holder may ask for erasure of personal data the controller received, and may ask for a portable export of that material in a usable form. The same mailbox receives those requests. Uninstalling CleanShot or clearing storage removes local files the phone still keeps. For material that already left the device, the controller will process erasure and export requests for what it still holds, and will relay deletion where the vendor still has a transient copy that the controller can identify. Expect a reply on those mailbox requests within fifteen business days where the facts are clear.
State requests, the adult audience, and a replacement notice
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, a person living in California can write studio@yuhuaicreative.com and request confirmation that personal information about them was or was not collected or shared. CleanShot does not sell personal information. Cleaned stills are not used for cross-context behavioural advertising. Opt out of selling at studio@yuhuaicreative.com.
The Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act applies to a Virginia resident. Because CleanShot only returns an edited still, targeted advertising is not part of it, a sale is not part of it, and profiling is not part of it. Someone in Virginia can write studio@yuhuaicreative.com to refuse a sale.
CleanShot is for a person of 18 or eighteen years, and a minor must not use CleanShot. Cleaning screens are not directed at children. CleanShot was not designed for children, and the listing is not marketed to children. There are no child-focused features on these screens. Because the editor is meant for an adult, the operator does not knowingly collect personal information from a person younger than eighteen. CleanShot does not gather a child's sensitive identifiers. It also does not gather biometric data of a child. A parent or guardian may email studio@yuhuaicreative.com so the controller can give access, perform deletion, and stop processing of children's information that arrived by mail.
When this privacy policy is updated, the new effective date appears in the controller chapter and in the package legal links. Continued use of CleanShot after a later edition is posted means the holder should read the revised text. The edition that carries the newest date replaces the wording that came before it.
